My cartoons are (yikes!) online.

It’s been a while.

Earlier this year I was writing a lot. Most blog posts. A couple of book ideas came and went and then withered on the keyboard.

And I was drawing.

At the start of the Pandemic, I challenged myself to scratch out one cartoon-like drawing every day over my morning coffee. I would think about something from my businesses or any random life event and get started.

By the end of the year, I had over 200. Here are some examples:

The goal was to experience drawing something to the end but then walk away. I didn’t want to kill the fun with lots of tedious cleanup.

When Donna got up and had her first coffee I would - somewhat impatiently - reveal my work. The artwork was not pretty, but I was entertained (and occasionally she was as well.)

A couple of years later I took that ritual into the digital world, learning how to create illustrations on a tablet.

I’m (still) a rank amateur, but I’m having fun making this stuff. I hope you have as much fun reading them.
